- Idea: learn symmetry by folding a butterfly in half
- Pick a motif from the tray, then tap an empty place on the right wing
- A wrong choice just shakes — never red, never harsh
- Sound, house points, Beary hosts
- Five butterflies, then a certificate
- A few misses → a breathing pause
- Six Kidsquare watercolour butterflies, six genuinely different wing silhouettes — rounded, pointed, scalloped, long-tailed, broad, neat — painted with their wings deliberately left bare so motifs can go on them
- What goes on the wing is painted too — daisy, rose, leaf, paisley drop, berries, star — and that changed the game, not just the look
- It used to be a coloured circle, which can only differ by COLOUR — the one attribute a colour-blind child cannot use. A motif differs by SHAPE first: a leaf is not a star at any size
- A motif on the right wing is truly MIRRORED, not copied across — a fold reflects a picture, it does not duplicate it
- npm run verify:butterfly opens all six paintings and checks every place — and its mirror, with a motif's margin — lands on solid wing on every one. The first run caught two places hanging off the edge of the long-tailed swallowtails
- Moved into <GameShell> for the same reason count-match was, and no butterfly appears twice in a row
✓ = done · ☐ = planned. Every game is built one step at a time like this.
